By the time Shehnaaz returned from Karan and Shweta’s office, it was almost evening, and she was utterly exhausted.

Rita ji sighed, watching her. “Puttar, kitne der baad aayi ho? Subah se gayi thi, abhi apni shakal dikha rahi ho.”

Shehnaaz made a face. “Kya hua, Mumma? Sab fix out kar diya hai maine. Woh log kal bhai se discuss karenge.”

Mahi came running and jumped on Shehnaaz’s back. With a thud, Shehnaaz dropped her playfully, and Mahi groaned, “Mumma, Di ne mujhe giraya.”

Jasbeera ji rolled her eyes. “Tum dono ab bas karo, please. Main pehle se hi kaafi thak gayi hoon.”

Shehnaaz heard that and immediately ran to the kitchen to prepare her special coffee. She informed the staff to cook something for themselves and not disturb Jasbeera ji.

Just then, Baaz walked in. “Sana, Leher kab se tumhara phone try kar rahi thi, par not reachable aa raha tha.”

Shehnaaz flopped onto the sofa. “Haan bhai, wahan pe reception hi nahi tha. Bhabhi ko mujhse kuch kaam tha kya?”

Baaz rolled his eyes. “Haan, actually Uttara London se aaj hi aayi hai.”

Shehnaaz got excited and jumped like a kid. “What? Usne mujhe call tak nahi kiya. Oh haan, reception… Damn, this is great news!”

Baaz chuckled. “Woh tere baare mein puchh rahi thi, par tu thi nahi aur usko teri help chahiye shopping mein. Toh maine teri taraf se bol diya ke woh bhi tumhare group ke sath shopping ke liye aa sakti hai.”

Shehnaaz smiled. “Main usse raat mein baat kar lungi.”

Shehnaaz’s eyes fell on her mother, who was pressing her head slowly. Smiling, Shehnaaz gently took her mother to her bedroom and made her sit on the bed.

Jasbeera sighed. “Kya kar rahi hai puttar? Main thak gayi hoon.”

Shehnaaz brought hair oil and stood beside her mother as she poured a little into Jasbeera ji’s hair. “Aaj aapko Shehnaaz special champi milegi.”

Jasbeera ji took a sigh of relief as she felt Shehnaaz’s fingers massaging her scalp.

Jasbeera ji closed her eyes, feeling good. “Iski kya zarurat hai beta?”

“Mumma, aap abhi chup raho. Aapko ekdum se achha lagega, dekhna,” said Shehnaaz, continuing to massage her mother’s hair.

Jasbeera ji didn’t know how to react. “Shehnaaz, tujhse fever toh nahi hai na beta? Kal se ajeeb behave kar rahi hai.”

Shehnaaz grinned cutely. “Hayy meri pyari maa… Laga na 440 ka jhatka.”

Shehnaaz’s phone rang in her bag, catching their attention. “Mumma, dekho na, kaun hai?” she said, her hands covered in oil, and then bit her lip, thinking what if it’s Sidharth.

“Nahi Mumma, let it be. Main dekh lungi baad mein,” said Shehnaaz hurriedly as she watched her mother take out her phone. “Mumma, rehne do na.”

Jasbeera ji had already taken out the phone and chuckled when she saw the name. “Jana…”

Shehnaaz stared, counting stars in her bedroom all of a sudden, as Jasbeera ji looked at her curiously.

The call went off, and Shehnaaz sighed in relief, but then it started ringing again.

Shehnaaz thought her mother wouldn’t pick up the call, but proving her horribly wrong, she did.

The moment the call was answered, Sidharth spoke hurriedly. “Mera bachha, kahan ho tum? Subah se tumhe call karne ki koshish kar raha hun, Jaan.. Tumhe pata hai kitna pareshan ho gaya main subah se.. Aise koi karta hai kya mera bachha? Haan? Subah se tumhari awaaz nahi suni maine. Tumhe pata hai na main kitna restless ho jata hun when I can’t reach you? Pagal ho jata hun tumhare zikr mein, Jaan. tum doctor ke paas gayi thi ? Ab kuch bolo bhi… Hello? Naaz?”

Jasbeera ji had picked up the phone with two intentions: to tease her daughter and to know the guy her daughter blindly trusted. And now, she realized why.

Her act had turned into a special moment. All doubt she had about Sidharth were blurred. She was amazed at how much he cared for Shehnaaz. Her eyes filled with emotions as she experienced the love her daughter was showered with. She felt an extreme sense of love, care, and honesty in his voice that left her bewitched.

Shehnaaz’s eyes widened, her mouth falling open in shock at the stunt her mother pulled.

Sidharth was totally confused. Why was she not saying anything? Worried, he mumbled again, “Shehnaaz…?”

Jasbeera ji chuckled. “Shehnaaz bilkul theek hai beta…”

Sidharth’s phone slipped out of his hand in shock. Startled, he caught it at his chest before it could hit the ground. His breaths were choked in his throat, and his eyes were wide. that voice definitely didn’t belong to Shehnaaz.. Maa ? Oh no.. He remembered the words he used: jaan, mera bachha, Naaz, baby, and what not… Holy shit…

Jasbeera ji softly grinned at his silence. “Main Shehnaaz ki maa hoon.”

Sidharth cleared his throat and softly spoke, “Maa… I mean, sorry… woh… umm…”

Jasbeera ji smiled and loved the way he called her β€˜Maa’ in their first-ever conversation. “Pareshan mat ho puttar. Main khud Shehnaaz ko doctor ke paas le gayi thi. She is fine.”

Shehnaaz was almost biting her nails as she became excited and nervous, unable to gauge Sidharth’s reaction. She wondered if Sidharth would scold her. Of course, he wasn’t prepared for this encounter, and it was too sudden.

Sidharth smiled at the sweetness in her voice and felt like he was speaking to his mother. “Ji… Thank you, Maa… I mean…” He didn’t know what to call her if not β€˜Maa’.

Jasbeera ji shook her head. “Beta, main sirf Shehnaaz ki hi nahi, tumhari bhi Maa hoon.”

Sidharth was touched by that and felt emotional. “Ji Maa… Woh, main thoda pareshan ho gaya tha.”

Jasbeera ji smiled. “Woh theek hai beta. Thodi badmash hai, but pyari hai.” Shehnaaz made a face, knowing that line was for her while Sidharth chuckled softly.

Jasbeera ji felt so good at heart, like a heavy stone was lifted. “Sach kahu beta, pehle main bahut pareshan ho gayi thi, ke kaun ladka hai. But ab mujhe yakin hai, tum Shehnaaz ke liye sabse best ho… Hayy Rabji, di sau…”

Sidharth’s heart fluttered with those words, realizing her mother was just like herβ€”pure and innocent. He was amazed at how Jasbeera ji believed so much in her daughter. “Par aap mujhse kabhi nahi mili.”

Jasbeera ji shook her head, watching Shehnaaz run to the bathroom to wash her hands. “Janti hoon. Par aap ki awaaz mein jo sachai hai na, wahi sabse bada saboot hai. Ab aur jaanchne ki kya zarurat hai.”

Sidharth smiled. “Aap ne mujhe apna beta mana hai toh mujhe aap kehke mat bulayiye. Tum kehke bulayiye, jaise meri Maa karti hai. Please Maa…”

Jasbeera ji was awed by this man. “Main Rabji se yahi maungi ke mere dono bachhe humesha khush rahe, sukhi rahe, kisi bhi problem se door rahe.”

Sidharth realized now why Shehnaaz was so good at heart. “Aap bahut achhi hain Maa…”

Jasbeera ji smiled. “Mujhe Mumma se zyada Maa hi pasand hai, par ye 3 shaitan mujhe Mumma kehke bulate hain. Tumne Maa kaha, bahut achha laga beta.”

Sidharth smiled full heartedly. Shehnaaz came running. “Mumma, mujhe baat karni hai. Do na…”

Sidharth grinned hearing her childish voice while Jasbeera ji rolled her eyes. “Dekha beta, ab is pagal ko tumhe hi theek karna hai.”

Shehnaaz’s mouth fell open while Sidharth nodded. Shehnaaz snatched the phone from her mother, making her laugh, and ran to the balcony. “Jana, hay rabba… Siyappa…”

Sidharth’s heart melted at the sound of “Jana.” The warmth in her voice reminded him of how much he missed her. He exhaled deeply, his voice tinged with concern and frustration, β€œMera bachha, main subah se tumhara phone try kar raha hoon. Pata hai kitna pareshan ho gaya tha main…”

Shehnaaz’s expression softened as she replied, β€œSorry na, Jana. Maine bataya tha na ke hum sab Karan aur Shweta ke office ja rahe hain…”

Sidharth sighed heavily, β€œHaan baba… But I couldn’t reach you through the phone either. Obviously, I will get worried, na baby…”

Shehnaaz plopped down on the wooden swing, a hint of annoyance in her voice, β€œAap ki wajah se woh doctor ne mujhe itni badi injection di…” Her lips pouted, almost as if blaming him.

Sidharth’s heart ached seeing her like this, especially since he hadn’t seen her all day. He felt an overwhelming urge to wrap her in his arms β€œMera bachha…”

That simple phrase was all it took for Shehnaaz to forget her grumpiness and break into a sweet smile. There was no need for more apologies or explanations; his affection spoke volumes.

Sidharth’s heart was filled with longing. He missed her terribly and wished she could rest peacefully in his arms. As a cool breeze passed, Shehnaaz shivered slightly, making a soft sound of contentment, β€œHmm…”

He took hold of her earring, a memento of their first hug in the lift. β€œTumhari bahut yaad aa rahi hai, mera bachha…”

Shehnaaz felt tears welling up in her eyes. Hearing him so vulnerable and desperate stirred something deep within her. β€œSidharth…” Her voice trembled, unable to find more words.

Sidharth’s voice grew frustrated, β€œItna door kyun ho mujhse tum… Haan? Tumhe koi haqq nahi samajhni tum…”

Shehnaaz, though still feeling the sting of his words, managed a tender smile, β€œAapne khana khaya?”

Sidharth sighed again, feeling lost and unsettled. β€œNahi… Bahut ajeeb lag raha hai. Mujhe tumhe dekhna hai… Tumse milna hai… Jaan… I need you now…”

Restlessly, Shehnaaz rose from the swing and walked to the edge of the balcony. β€œSidharth… Aap itne pareshan kyun lag rahe hain?”

Sidharth’s voice was urgent, β€œI need you now… Kaha na maine…”

Shehnaaz’s worry deepened. β€œPareshan hain aap kisi baat ko lekar… Boliyena…”

Sidharth, driven by a mix of possessiveness and desperation, got up from his bed and paced angrily towards the gym. β€œI want you, jaan… Now… Mujhe kuch nahi sunna aur…”

Shehnaaz could feel the intensity and worry in his voice. She needed to see him, to calm him, to be with him. Checking the time, she made a decision. β€œMain Mumma se keh deti hoon… Woh mana nahi karengi. Tum drive slow karna, thik hai… Please, Jana.”

Sidharth, in his desperation, punched the punching bag with frustration. β€œI want you…”

Shehnaaz hurriedly grabbed her bag and headed to her room. β€œHaan, mera bachha… Main aapki hi hoon na… Main aapka wait kar rahi hoon…”

She disconnected the call, and Sidharth fell to his knees with a thud, a profound sense of satisfaction filling him. Her words, β€œMera bachha,” were filled with protectiveness, worry, and care. Despite her being younger, she knew how to handle him, how to melt his anger with her delicate love.

Shaking his head, Sidharth realized he had acted irrationally, but he was willing to be foolish if it meant seeing her. Logic had no place in his heart right now.

As Shehnaaz walked downstairs, she saw her mother in the kitchen. She ran to her, hugging her tightly. β€œMaa, main thodi der ke liye bahar ja rahi hoon… Woh mujhe milne aa rahe hain… Bahut pareshan lag rahe the phone pe… Toh maine hi milne ki zidd ki…”

Jasbeera Ji sighed, her concern evident. β€œBeta, time dekh…”

Shehnaaz’s eyes filled with tears. β€œPlease Mumma, mat roko… Woh takleef mein hain… Pareshan hain… Mujhse nahi raha jayega aise…”

Jasbeera Ji gently patted Shehnaaz’s cheek. β€œPlease jaldi aa jana… Agar tere papa ne poocha toh main bol dungi Ankita ke ghar hai, samajhi…”

Shehnaaz kissed her mother’s cheek and dashed out, making her way through the gates, which were a ten-minute walk from the mansion.

She glanced around and saw Sidharth’s car approaching rapidly. She hurried toward it and jumped into the passenger seat before he could get out.

Sidharth’s eyes, filled with a mixture of anger and intense longing, softened as he saw her. He pulled her into a tight embrace, inhaling her familiar scent as if she were the very air he breathed.

Shehnaaz nestled closer, wrapping her arms around him. β€œAap itna pareshan kyun ho jaate hain… Main hoon na…” she mumbled near his ear, placing a tender kiss on his hair.

Sidharth sighed with relief and started the engine, driving away as Shehnaaz clung to him. Her warmth was a balm to his restless soul.

Her gentle kisses on his arm prompted him to ask, β€œKhana khaya aap ne?”

He shook his head, remaining silent. Shehnaaz, frustrated but loving, glared at him. β€œMujhe pata tha…” Shaking her head, she tried to pull away, but his arms tightened around her.

Shehnaaz chuckled softly. β€œHayy Rabba, thodi bhi patience naam ki cheez nahi hai aap mein…”

Her playful complaint eased his tension. He managed a smile, enjoying her teasing. β€œYou’re not scolding me, baby…”

Shehnaaz retrieved a small box her mother had given her and pulled out a paratha. β€œAye lo, daat to padegi aapko, agar mujhse nahi toh Mumma se… Agar aap yeh finish nahi kiya…”

She fed him the paratha, and he took a bite without complaint. She waited expectantly for the second bite. β€œIt’s nice…”

β€œHai na… mumma ke haathon mein jaadu hai…” Shehnaaz said, excitedly feeding him again. He ended up eating two parathas easily, and she even managed to get him to eat a third one with her adorable, stern gaze.

He chuckled and asked, β€œTumne khaya?”

Shehnaaz took out a bottle of water and held it to his lips. β€œMaine abhi lassi pi hai… Ghar jaake kha lungi main…”

Sidharth waited until she safely put the bottle away before pulling her close. They stopped near a calm place. It was deserted, the night quiet around them. She sat near himwhile he wrapped his arms around her and rested his chin on her head. β€œMain pagal ho jaata hoon tumhare bina…”

Shehnaaz kissed his hands and entwined her fingers with his. β€œAap mere saath apni koi bhi mushkil baat sakte hain… Main aapki hoon na…”

Sidharth held her tighter, burying his face in her hair. β€œSirf meri ho tum… Sirf meri…”

Shehnaaz tilted her face towards him and gave him a tender, loving kiss. It was a kiss that conveyed all their unspoken feelings, a connection of their hearts and souls.

Sidharth kissed her back with deep affection, savoring every moment.Β He whispered into her neck, β€œsirf meri ho…”

Despite not understanding his restlessness, Shehnaaz kissed his forehead repeatedly, her face pressed against his neck. β€œMain aapki hoon… Aapke liye bani hoon… Bina aapke, Shehnaaz kuch bhi nahi hai… Shehnaaz ki saans, Shehnaaz ka pyar, Shehnaaz ki khushiyan, Shehnaaz ki zindagi… Sab Sidharth se hai… Sidharth hai toh Shehnaaz hai… Agar Sidharth pareshan hai, toh Shehnaaz theek kaise ho sakti hai… Apne Sidharth ko khush dekhne ke liye toh Shehnaaz jeeti hai…”

Sidharth’s heart ached at her words. Her love and devotion were overwhelming. She had become a part of him, in every breath, every heartbeat, and every cell of his being. From the moment he saw her in the rain, he knew she was his, but he never imagined she would love him this deeply, teaching him the true meaning of love.

his heart started beating faster and faster.. hearing those words of hers…

she could feel the flow of emotions in his eyes with the way he kept staring at her endless.. she pecked his lips softly, “Sidharth.. aap pareshan kyu hote hai.. me hu na.. apki Shehnaaz.. mere hote huye.. koi gum apko chhu bhi nahi sakta.. warna ye puri duniya tabah kar degi apki ye Shehnaaz.. mera har lamha apke liye hi toh hai.. toh fir aisa kaise ho sakta hai.. ke apko meri zaroorat ho aur me apke paas na rahu..”

She pulled his board form in his small embrace.. he rested his head against hers.. listening ti her heart beat and tightened his arms around her as she cupped his face with her delicate palms and smiled at him like it was the most beautiful thing to do in the world..

He couldn’t surirvce without her.. Sidharth heard her soothing heartbeat, “koi tumhe mujhse nahi chhin sakta Naaz.. koi ye soche bhi.. usse pehle.. me usse jaan se mar dunga..”

She knew he was tensed about something, “koi mujhe apse nahi chhin sakta Sidharth.. par kuchh aur bhi hai jo apko pareshan kar raha hai..batayiye mujhe..”

Sidharth dug his face in her warmth making her kiss his hair at the back. He told her the accident his brother had and the reason behind it, “mujhe samajh nahi aa raha hai.. kya karu..”

She loved the way he was concerned about his family, “Sidharth.. apko usse waqt dena chahiye.. sab ki zindagi fairy tale ki tarah nahi ho sakti na.. Rabji jo kuchh
bhi karte hai.. soch samajhkar karte hai.. shayad isme uska kuchh bhala chhupa ho.. koi sikh ho jo uske liye jaruri ho.. Rabji usse strong banana chahte honge.. aur
agar unka pyar sachha hai.. toh wo apna khoya huva rasta jarur dhund lenge..”

Sidharth listened to her carefully.. her words soothed his heart like balm.. her positive approach towards the problems and the way she understood them amazed
him.. He knew it was her mother’s teaching and his respect for Jasbeera ji increased..
Sidharth raised his face and put his forehead on her lips to make her kiss him on his forehead, “tum mujhe etne achhe se kaise samajh pati ho…”

Shehnaaz smiled and fulfilled his demand, “Sidharth ko Shehnaaz nahi samajhegi to aur kaun samajhega.. Sidharth ko samajhne ka haqq sirf Shehnaaz ko hai..”

“mera bachha…..” thats all he could utter as he cocooned her in his embrace.. she always left him speechless.. her love.. her understanding.. her positivity.. he fell
for every aspect of her..

“mera bachha.. meri baby.. meri jaan ho tum..” he said with possessiveness..

She laughed madly in his embraced and hide her face in his neck as baarish showered them and sidharth put her in passenger seat before she could get
drenched.. she had sinus and he didn’t want her to get sick again..

Taking driver’s seat, he put her seat belt and kissed her forehead, “tumhara, mera aur ye baarish ka kya combination ne mujhe sach me samajh nahi aata..”

Shehnaaz giggled and rubbed her damp hair softly, “Sidnaaz ka ye connection Shalaka ne banaya hai..”

“Sidnaaz..??” he asked in confusion and tucked her wet hair behind that covered her face from him.. smiling, shehnaaz took out her hankey and wiped water droplets from his face and neck making him chuckle, “Sid ki Naaz aur Naaz ka sid.. toh huva na sidnaaz..”

sidharth smiled full heartily as he loved the sweet feeling that warmed his heart with their connected names.. Sidnaaz..
……………
“are aap kya kar rahe hai.. woh pichhe reh gaya..?” said Shehnaaz out of blue making sidharth stop the car with a sudden break, “kya baby..?”
shehnaaz gave him a cute smile, “Ice-cream..”
Sidharth glared at her for her little mischief, “baby nahi.. tum bhig gayi ho.. sabe ulte kaam karne hai tumhe..”
“mujhe chahiye sidharth..” said shehnaaz making her poorest face which metled sidharth.. He couldn’t believe he was getting melted for a baby face.. Side effects of love he realized and took a U turn with a groan that made her giggle..
Ordering her to sit in car, he ran towards the Ice cream shop and ordered for her favorite chocolate ice creams..
Not listening to him, she came out and ran towards him amidst the little baarish which made him angry, “baby I told you not to come out..”
She made baby face watching his angry eyes and tip toed as she placed a soft kiss on his cheek, “aap ne promise kiya hai aap gussa nahi karoge..”
Sidharth pulled her closer in his protective arms and kept his arm tight around her waist, “ye nautanki nahi chalegi baby..”
Sidharth stared at her curiously as she looked around mischievously and pecked his lips suddenly leaving him shocked..
He tried to find his anger but damnn he could.. godd this girl.. he glared at her again but couldn’t help smiling as she smiled at him and hugged his chest, “pagal hai bilkul mera bachha…” he mumbled more to himself..

________________

They held each other tightly, as if the world around them ceased to exist. The night grew colder, but their love kept them warm.

Their affection mingled with the chilly night air, creating a timeless moment of connection.

Just then, a loud voice pierced through the moment, snapping both Sidharth and Shehnaaz out of their private bubble. β€œShehnaaz tum yahan…” The voice was unmistakable, and it drew Shehnaaz’s attention immediately.

Turning around, Shehnaaz was taken aback, her face registering a mix of surprise and confusion. There, standing before her, was Shikhar. The sudden appearance of someone she hadn’t expected threw her off balance. She managed a small, uncertain smile. β€œOhh… Hi Shikhar…”

Shikhar had been in the vicinity, looking for someone. His eyes had widened as he spotted Shehnaaz stepping out of a car and making a beeline for the ice-cream shop. Intrigued by her unexpected presence, he had followed her, only to witness a scene that unraveled before him like a bitter revelation. Shehnaaz had greeted a stranger with a hug and, to his shock, a kissβ€”first on the cheek, and then on the lips.

The sight had sent a jolt of fury through Shikhar. His face flushed a deep red as his anger surged uncontrollably. How dare she show such intimacy with another man? How could she embrace and kiss someone else so openly? He seethed with rage, his body trembling with the intensity of his feelings. He wanted nothing more than to confront this stranger and demand answers, to drag Shehnaaz away and make her understand the gravity of what she had just done.

With a forceful groan, Shikhar steadied himself and approached them, positioning himself behind Shehnaaz and Sidharth as he called out to her.

Sidharth’s eyes narrowed as he scrutinized the new arrival. There was an instinctive tightening of his hold around Shehnaaz’s waist, a reaction to the negative aura that emanated from this stranger. He couldn’t quite place it, but the unsettling vibe made him uneasy.

Shikhar aaddressed Shehnaaz, his gaze flickering towards Sidharth. β€œUmm… Me yahan dinner ke liye aaya tha… but tum yahan…?” His voice trailed off as he noticed the way Sidharth’s grip on Shehnaaz tightened. The anger within him flared once more.

Sidharth, unfazed by Shikhar’s presence, responded with a cool demeanor, β€œ Mr. Shikhar. By the way, this is Sidharth Shukla.”

Shikhar ’s eyes widened as recognition dawned. β€œOugh… Mr. Shukla, it’s a pleasure to meet you. My dad always speaks highly of you.”

Sidharth’s expression remained impassive, unmoved by Shikhar’s flattery. His tone remained steady and formal, a stark contrast to Shikhar’s sycophantic charm. β€œAnyways, how do you know my Shehnaaz?”

The possessive tone in Sidharth’s words did not go unnoticed by Shikhar. Shehnaaz’s cheeks flushed a deep shade of pink, and a beautiful, shy smile played on her lips.

Shikhar’s fists clenched in a desperate attempt to control his boiling rage. He wanted to lash out, to confront this man who dared to call Shehnaaz his own. β€œActually, we are classmates… but you two…”

Sidharth’s eyes flickered with a steely resolve as he nearly glared at Shikhar. Shehnaaz, however, smiled softly, her voice warm and confident. β€œWe are together.” The moment she spoke, Sidharth’s gaze softened, and he returned her smile, while Shikhar’s anger intensified tenfold.

Shehnaaz continued, β€œI haven’t disclosed this to my friends yet because I want to make it special… so please keep the privacy.”

Shikharbarely nodded, his gaze fixed on her, while Sidharth’s anger simmered just beneath the surface. Shehnaaz, sensing the growing tension, quickly said, β€œWe are getting late… see you soon.”

Shikhar’s eyes were filled with frustration as he mumbled, β€œYeah…”

As Sidharth and Shehnaaz walked towards the car, he pulled her close, his mind still burning with anger towards the man who had dared to look at her the way he did. The car sped away into the darkness, leaving Shikharbehind.

In a fit of rage, Shikharpounded his fist against a nearby wall, the impact causing his hand to bleed. The shopkeeper rushed over, but he, consumed by his fury, pushed him away and stormed out.

How could Shehnaaz be with Sidharth Shukla? How could she say they were together? The thought was maddening. Shehnaaz was supposed to be hisβ€”no one else’s. He had to make sure she understood that. He needed to teach her a lesson for daring to be with someone else. Shehnaaz could only be his.

Drenched by the heavy rain, Shikhar wandered aimlessly down the road, his mind clouded by anger and betrayal. A girl, her face etched with concern, rushed towards him and grabbed his hand.

β€œWhat the hell are you trying to do? You’ll get sick!” she exclaimed, her voice trembling with worry.

Shikhar shook her hand off roughly. β€œLeave me… or I’ll kill you. Just leave me alone!”

Despite his harsh words, the girl refused to abandon him. β€œNo way am I leaving you. You’ll hurt yourself.”

Shikhar glared at her, his voice low and dangerous. β€œIs waqt mujhe akela chhod do, warna main kya kar bethunga, ye mujhe khud nahi pata…” He then screamed, his frustration evident, β€œJust gooooo…”

The girl, frightened by his outburst, recoiled in shock and fled, tears streaming down her face.

Meanwhile, Sidharth drove with a turbulent mind, his anger still simmering from the encounter with Shikhar. Shehnaaz, aware of his mood, wrapped her arms around his waist and clung to him, trying to offer comfort. β€œMs. Shukla…”

Sidharth, momentarily startled, glanced at her. β€œKya kaha tumne abhi baby…”

Shehnaaz giggled, her voice light and playful. β€œCall me Mrs. Shukla…”

Sidharth’s face broke into a warm smile as he heard her words. He felt a surge of happiness at how easily she had embraced his surname as her own. β€œYes, Mrs. Shukla,” he replied, his voice filled with affection. β€œBoliyye…”

He cherished the sound of calling her that, the way she had seamlessly integrated his name into her identity. He enveloped her in a tender, teddy bear hug, the joy of their connection evident.

Shehnaaz, with a playful pout, complained, β€œMrs. Shukla is angry on Mr. Shukla…” The sight of her cute pout made Sidharth chuckle, unable to resist planting a gentle kiss on her cheek. Shehnaaz scrunched up her face, mimicking a child who disliked a kiss from someone they were annoyed with.

Sidharth laughed, giving her another quick peck on the cheek. β€œMera bachha…”

The moment she heard those words, Shehnaaz’s grumpiness melted away. She hugged him tightly, and Sidharth pulled her into his embrace, feeling her comfort in his arms. Her presence brightened his mood, a silent affirmation of their bond.

Their embrace was interrupted when Shehnaaz’s phone rang. Checking it, she saw it was her mother calling. She informed her that they were almost near home, only ten minutes away.

Shehnaaz looked at Sidharth, her voice soft. β€œMujhe jana hoga…”

A pang of unease gripped Sidharth at her words. He pulled her closer, his voice firm. β€œJana hoga matlab… Main tumhe kahin nahi jane dunga. Tum hamesha mere paas rahogi. Kabhi mujhse door nahi ja sakti…”

Shehnaaz smiled gently, leaning in to kiss his forehead. Her touch was soothing, and as she held him close, she whispered, β€œI don’t like this…”

Suddenly, she noticed her dupatta was missing. β€œMera dupatta kahan hai?” she asked, scanning the area.

Sidharth’s gaze followed hers, and he spotted the dupatta lying at her feet. β€œSab apki vajah se,” he said, watching as Shehnaaz picked it up.

Sidharth chuckled, teasing, β€œAchha, maine aisa kya kiya?”

Shehnaaz began to reply but blushed, remembering their recent intimate moment.

Sidharth, with a playful groan, rubbed his knuckles against her rosy cheeks and planted a gentle kiss on her forehead. β€œAchha, jao. Maa wait kar rahi hongi…”

Shehnaaz hugged him once more before darting through the gates of the mansion.
